Alys is a writer, actress and speech coach, originally hailing from Wales.
ACTING
Alys can be seen in the role of ‘Daisy’ in BBC Films feature film Dirty God, which was Mark Kermode’s Film Of The Week, and she’s filming a well-known Sky Drama series in November of this year. WRITING
As a writer, Alys was member of the prestigious BBC Comedy Room and is a current member of BBC Writers Room Cornish Voices. Her interactive story, The Act, was commissioned by BBC Taster. Her TV sitcom was optioned by Hartswood, and she has developed another sitcom with Merman. Her short film, Remnants, was screened as part of the London Short Film Festival. As a playwright, Alys’s writing includes You Only Live Forever at SOHO Theatre, Reel Life at Ustinov Studio Theatre Royal Bath, and Unearthed, Arcola, Hull Truck and Cheltenham Everyman theatres.
