Speakers:

Emily Large (she/her) – Recruitment –  leads on Recruitment programmes, including traineeships and internships at Penguin. As well as this she leads on the careers outreach strategy, thinking about how we reach audiences who haven’t heard about publishing careers before. Emily’s experience has been focused on managing programmes and outreach in complex organisations. Before joining Penguin, she worked on both Recruitment programmes and in technology change project management in the education charity sector. Follow Emily here

Mia Oakley (she/her) – Marketing and Campaigns – is an award-winning marketer at Ebury, Penguin, where she works across a range of illustrated and narrative non-fiction, with a particular focus on cookery and expertise in audience development. She is also the Co-Chair of Colour[Full] PRH’s employee network for Black, Asian marginalised communities. Before joining campaigns, Mia held various positions across editorial, marketing and events management. Follow Mia here
