The Food Chain is a small HIV charity. They exist to ensure people living with HIV in London can access the nutrition they need to get well, stay well and lead healthy, independent lives. They give nutritional advice and deliver groceries to the homes of people living with HIV who are in crisis, supporting them and their dependents through times of hardship.
The Food Chain receives no government or statutory funding, and rely heavily on the generosity of individual donors.
December 1st World AIDS Day is one of our biggest fundraising occasions, and of course this year we’ve been unable to host any of our usual events. So They’ve been trying to come up with new ways to promote our cause, as well as keeping World AIDS Day in the public consciousness as an opportunity to honour those we have lost, show solidarity with the global cause, and promote action for those living with HIV today.
Creative Works will keep a small tub of red World AIDS Day ribbons for customers to purchase. Payment would be taken by text, so there is no exchange of money.
Text REDRIBBON to 70460 to donate £2
