Creative Connect is a programme run by Big Creative Community CiC.
Our goal is clear: democratise access to the creative industry, foster connections that transcend boundaries, and provide unwavering support to intergenerational creatives. We also support aspiring creatives looking to establish their start-up business or pursue freelance careers. Creative Connect is supported by Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City and delivered by the Foundation for Future London.
Aspiring and established creative professionals come together for dynamic events that foster employment opportunities, facilitate networking, and enhance knowledge-building experiences. This initiative is dedicated to addressing and improving employability and self-employment as well as promoting Equality, Diversity & Inclusion within the creative industries, and empowering future generations to thrive in this dynamic and diverse sector.
Between March and December 2024, we will host 4 key events and 14 coaching, drop-in sessions, workshops and mentoring sessions at our Co-working space and potential partner venues in boroughs like Waltham Forest, Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Hackney. We aim to engage more participants, cultivate partnerships, and expand opportunities for local students and community members aged 16 and over.
